Chef Event 2020 – a preview

A decade ago, supporters of Seagull Services created the Annual Chef Event to raise money for the organization’s educational programs. Each event has featured the culinary talents of a pastry chef from the event venue who creates dessert before it is served.

The 2020 Annual Chef Event promises that and much more. For the first time, The Chef Event will feature a live auction as well as an online component to its silent auction. Committee members are working to gather an array of exciting auction items for a spectacular finale to the event.

It will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the beautiful Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. Tickets are available by emailing Elizabeth McDermott at emcdermott@seagull.org or by visiting www.seagull.org.

In the weeks before the event, everyone will have an opportunity to participate in the silent auction through an online platform. Seagull Services will be using Maestrosoft.com. The auction will go live in mid-January. Everyone will be able to view the items and place bids from a computer, tablet or phone. If an item gets a higher bid, all the previous bidders will get an email alert.

The silent auction will conclude during the Chef Event.
