Seagull Services is pleased to announce that Judith L. Dynia and Jim Weber have joined its Board of Directors. Each will serve for a two-year term.

Judy Dynia is a career professional in the field of fundraising and development, having worked for over 15 years for The New York City Police Foundation, a non-profit organization that more...provides resources for innovative NYPD programs that help to make New York City a safer place to live, work and visit. As Director of Development, she raised millions of dollars through special events, program proposals and targeted mailings.

Having moved to Florida in 2015, Dynia was elected to the board of the SeaWinds Condominium Property Owners Association, and serves as its Vice President.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from San Francisco State University, and a master’s in criminal justice from the University of New Haven.

Jim Weber is an equipment specialist for Patterson Dental and has been in the dental industry for 26 years, assisting dentists to design and equip their offices.

Weber is a familiar face to the Seagull family. His son, Zachary, has attended Seagull Academy for Independent Living since 9th grade. Weber and his family are constant supporters of Seagull Academy for Independent Living’s activities and programs.          He will bring the parent’s perspective to Seagull’s board.

“I’ll guarantee you that Seagull prepares these kids more for real life than the typical high school does. You have to get them out in the community so they’re exposed to the community and the community is exposed to them,” he said. “Seagull does that, and Zachary has flourished in that environment.”

Originally from Michigan, Jim and his wife, Natalie, now reside in Loxahatchee. In addition to Zachary, the Webers have three daughters, Kylie, 23, Adleigh, 7, and Finleigh, 3.
