Thrift Store Volunteers Needed

We are in need of helping hands at our Thrift Store in Greenacres (corner of Forest Hill Blvd. and Jog Road). Do you enjoy working with people, helping others, arranging and displaying merchandise? If so, we need you. Even a few hours per week of your time and talents can make a significant difference in the lives of others!

For more information about this volunteer opportunity, please contact Kathleen Brady at 561-842-5814, Ext. 111 or e-mail kbrady@seagull.org.

Help us Paint and Plant - Country-Style - at Seagull Ranch

We are in the midst of a Beautification Project at Seagull Ranch, our 20-acre residential complex serving developmentally challenged adults in Indiantown (just 40 miles northwest of West Palm Beach). We need help to finish painting buildings and planting shrubs.

Come out and enjoy the fresh country air in this wonderful rural setting, and check-out our horticultural projects and farm animals!

This is the perfect opportunity for a small group to share their time and talent for 2 or 3 Saturdays or even individuals who wish to donate a few hours just one Saturday.

For more information about this volunteer opportunity, please contact Kathleen Brady at 561-842-5814, Ext. 111 or e-mail kbrady@seagull.org.

VOLUNTEERS are very important to Seagull.

You can have direct contact with our client population.
For example, some of our clients need one-on-one assistance to help them complete work assignments in our achievement center.

If special events are your passion, help us plan a golf tournament, or a fashion show, or a silent auction.

If retail sales, marketing, merchandising, pricing, etc. are your loves, we need lots of assistance in our thrift stores and our manufacturing activities.

There are many other needs with which you can be most helpful.

VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH

February

Congratulations and special thanks to our 3 Volunteers of the Month: Evie Kugler, Jamie Elliott, and Robyn Venero from Cardinal Newman High School.

These 3 talented, creative, and caring student volunteers are shining stars at Seagull Industries by generously donating their time and talents with a variety of important projects, including making & selling tie-dye shirts at the Green Market, helping our clients to create holiday cards & picture frames, and decorating our holiday parade float. Kudos to you all!

And thank you to all our Seagull Volunteers! You are awesome!

Call our executive director, Fred Eisinger, directly. (561) 842-5814 - x131. He would love to discuss these matters further.
