Seagull Place opened its doors in the Spring of 2002 as a residential program serving 24 men and women 24/7 - 365 days a year. Located on beautiful Singer Island, and just a short walk from the beach, this facility is designed to serve developmentally challenged adults.
Licensed as an assisted living facility, Seagull Place provides room and board, daily living skills training and recreational programs - all under the supervision of Seagull's experienced and caring professional staff.
Seagull Place offers a variety of living accommodations, including single occupancy and double occupancy rooms as well as an efficiency apartment designed to offer clients the opportunity to transition to independent living. Each resident participates in day time programs that include Seagull's sheltered workshop, supported and competitive employment programs - all located just minutes away.
Seagull provides round trip transportation for clients attending vocational programs, social events and recreational activities.
