Who needs or benefits from a Seagull program?

A:

For the most part, developmentally challenged adolescents and adults.

What are the individual fees or costs for attending the workshops, vocational training programs and residential programs?

A:

For someone who has a semi private room and attends the workshop, the total cost is $2,100 per month. We can apply a sliding scale in some of these cases. For someone who wants a private room and attend the workshop, the total cost is $2,850. There is no sliding scale applied in this situation.

Adult Programs - 22 and up; SAIL Charter School - 12 years old to 22 years old (6th grade to high school graduation).

How does Seagull prepare participants for school or work?

A:

The potential client is permitted to begin attending on a limited basis, such as once weekly. It depends on his/her experience and confidence level. Most individuals begin attending full time immediately and fit right in.

Yes, but it depends on one's financial resources.

What are the costs for a residential program?

A:

Cost of residential care is $850 for semi-private room and board and $1,500 for private room and board. However, the resident must either be working competitively in the community during day-time hours, or attending another Seagull program, which does have an additional cost.
